Thanks for some more great links wert. I have visited the site for Larry Margetish's "Canada's Caricature and Landscape Issues" exhibit before. It is quite a great exhibit of a modern issue. I corresponded with Larry with some questions about this online exhibit and he was most responsive and helpful.

Always have a soft spot for that series of definitives since it was current when I started collecting as a boy.

Nice links ! I had no idea that collectors had such an interest in these studies. I have not been to many Stamp Shows where they have exhibits but I am trying to get out to some of them.

Is there a thread here that lists these shows?

I still don't know why those are called the Caricature Set. They AREN'T caricatures. Caricatures use exaggeration to distort features for a comic effect. Those are simply stylized line drawings.
