Dear Rik, I've been investigating like you this question. In Spain we don't have that product neither, I think that The chemical product is d-limonene, an essential oil, in Spain a bottle costs 13 euro in a shop of chemical products, but I haven't checked it yet.

Bad new Rik,

I went to my local post office and was told I couldn't ship "PURE CITRUS" USPS overseas. The danger warning on the back of the can states that the "contents under pressure and flammable." Apparently a no-no. Chalk up yet another win for radical islam and loss of freedom for us. I will check UPS for you and see what they say.

Rik, do you read "Nederlands Maandblad voor Filatelie"? I have an idea that they can tell you how to soak these stamps.

Rik, if you Google "postzegels losweken" you will get (among others) a link to Catawiki forums that talks specifically about Dutch and Belgian stamps. There is something available in Europe by the name of "ecarlate" that seems to do the job. Hope this helps!

@jkelley01938:
Ah too bad USPS won't ship it.
Indeed maybe UPS will ship it, I hope so.

@Petert4522:

No I even didn't know that "Nederlands Maandblad voor Filatelie" exists.
Also I did some Google'ing but I was so frustrated that I didn't Googled long enough.

I am going to take another look on Google.

Thanks both for the useful information.

Rik, I misspelled the name of the Maandblad. It is the "Nederlands Maandblad voor Philatelie". I think the "ecarlate" is also known as "Eau ecarlate".

Hi Peter,

I have found the topic on catawiki about that "eau ecarlate".
Many many thanks.
I am going to look where I can buy it in Holland.

Rik,

Strike two! Same rules. Chalk up another one for radical islam. The fellow at the UPS Store directed me to a customer service toll free number and email address on the back of the PURE CITRUS can. He thought they might know what the product is called over in Holland.

BINGO!

Here's what I found out with customer service. The product is called CITRUS PLUS, same as here. She did not know what stores carry it in Holland. They send the product to WINPLUS EUROPE LTD in Britian and they forward along to places unknown. Their address is Two Counties Estate, Falconer Rd, Haverhill CB9 7XZ, United Kingdom; and their phone is +44 1440 713888. Somehow this information will get you your PURE CITRUS. Oh, and google Wingate Europe and it should come right up. I am sorry I was unable to send you a can or two.

Guys, here in Europe I cannot get Pure Citrus.
But it is an air freshener, we have that in Holland too.
Is something like this better:

That is an air freshener that I can buy in Holland...
Hope to hear from someone
