I also find the ASD&C magazine to be an enjoyable read. At one time you could purchase back issues on their website for $4 (or thereabouts - each), but I have not looked lately. Perhaps a on-line subscription would give you access to their back issues, which would take up less space.

I have never received any mass mailings from them (either email or snail mail) from being a subscriber, other than the usual renewal notices.

Daniel Kelleher auctions also has a quarterly magazine that is free. It also has quality articles in addition to the expected promotional materials. Try that one out. Perhaps others can offer opinions as well

The online archives appear to go back to 2012. Although I can access them, I am an old fart that just likes to curl up with the physical magazine. I would also be interested in going back farther than 2012.

I am a regular customer of Kelleher so I've been getting their magazine which I have found to be pretty interesting.

As I noted in an earlier post in this thread, I've been trying to read everything I can to become more informed since coming back to the hobby a few years ago.

I was given a one year subscription to ASD&C in 2015 and did enjoy reading it. When it came time to renew this past February I did not receive any renewal notice so I emailed them but never heard back. Guess I could have estimated what to pay them and sent it to them but I am old-fashioned about wanting to mail in my renewal check with a personalized renewal form that states what the renewal rates are for various lengths of subscription time. I then called and was assured they would send me a replacement renewal notice; they did not know why I would not have gotten one. But alas I never got a replacement renewal notice so I just dropped the idea from my mind and to this day I have somehow lived a fairly full life without the magazine - lol. Good magazine, though, with good articles and other interesting content. I get the Kelleher magazine as I am also a regular auction customer of theirs; it is also of good quality but I would rate ASD&C as better.

In general I find the "customer service" at ASDA to be pretty spotty for collectors; I trust it's a lot better for their main constituency - the dealers. My subscription also lapsed sometime late last year and I never received a renewal notice. I decided to start it up again by signing up at the NY World Stamp Show. Despite handing over my subscription form and payment, it still took a host of communications over the next few months to get the magazine flowing again. I also had no luck getting anyone to respond to my inquiries concerning their October show in NY. You would think that, even though collectors aren't their main clients, they would want to encourage us to attend the show and generate some business for the dealers there.

I encountered similar issues when I renewed my subscription earlier this year. Instead of extending my existing subscription, they started a second one, which meant my receiving 2 issues and my subscription not extending as far out as it should have.

After several weeks with no reply to repeated inquiries, I reached out to Mark Reasoner, current ASDA president, via his personal email address, and that finally got results.
