I have finally added some new material to my Vermont Postal History Blog after attending a stamp show in Essex Junction, Vermont earlier today. My goal had been to write something to each of my 3 blogs at least once a week. In that I have failed miserably. Perhaps in the next few weeks I'll improve my record.

I added a short article written in 1993 in The Vermont Philatelist by the late Vermont Postal Historian Leon White which explains an unusual emergency postal cancellation from 1926 and 1927.

Trying to meet my goal of adding new information to my postal history blogs at least once a week, I have now added to my NYS (pre-1900) postal history blog.

I'm trying to keep my string of weekly blog entries going. This week I have added to my Vermont Postal History Blog with an entry on VERMONT PICTORIAL CANCELS from the first half of 2015. There were only five in the first six months. Of those five, four were continuations of series from previous years.

My Vermont postal history blog this time has a conundrum about the 1991 University of Vermont postal card first day cancel plus a postal card that travel the state of Vermont receiving different cancels.

I have added to my http://vermontpostalhistory.blogspot.com blog some scans of Scott #210 US covers that I obtained this past weekend at the Northeast Postal History and Ephemera show in Albany N.Y.

Trying to keep my goal of adding to at least one of my postal history blogs each week, I have placed some pictures taken in the early-mid 1960s of Vermont Post Offices. It's amazing how Vermont has changed in the last 50 years.
