I just received my own copy of "The Imperial Eagles of Maximilian's Mexico" by Leo V. Corbett, copy 102 of 300. This is considered by many the most sought out work in all Mexican Philatelic literature!

Happy reading! I'm waiting for the postman to deliver an equally riveting monograph (in Afrikaans) on the Pietersburg stamps of 1901. Should be a good language test, especially as I managed to learn Dutch 20 years ago (largely forgotten now...). I hope Joh managed to persuade the post office to put some nice stamps on the envelope, not some nasty pre-paid label.
