I came across this wiki while trying to ID DDR stamps without dates.

It has scans of almost all German stamps, with corresponding Michel numbers. Someone really invested a lot of work in this wiki and I have found it very helpful, especially since stamp catalogs only picture one example of each stamp issue.

Thank you - and highly impressive and useful. I think that Maury is probably the only catalogue I have that illustrates everything.

The German Wikipedia has something similar. Even though it's in German, the format is a little easier to follow.
