I know what stamps1962 means. It's very difficult to find certain items on auction sites. Especially specific used albums. I recently gave up finding my next albums on
ebay.
I am ready to build up my US Revenues collection, and I've been checking over hundreds of albums on
ebay for the past month. Looking for what I would prefer -- used (less costly) Palo hingeless US Revenue albums -- proved exasperating. New investment is >US$1200. But I found not a single album for sale! That tells me they are a) rare and b) held on to by owners.
Today I ordered Scott's Part 1 & Part 2 US Revenue pages from a Revenue dealer in Pennsylvania. They will grace my old Scott Specialty 2-post binder. And it looks like I'll be learning about which mounts are sized for US revenues.
Which leads me to a question (Hey revenuecollector, I hope you check this out!)...
Is there a sizing guide for US Revenues? I love the top-loading clear Howid mounts, but which ones will I need?
