Here's a set of prexies from my stockbook. I was lucky to get them all - usually I always end up with "short sets"

The image is large, so I've linked them from my website. I apologize if I've overloaded dial-up users.

Very nice, Kirk. The Prexies really are a beautiful set of American stamps.

Nice prexies Kirk. Apparently, from what I see/hear at stamp shows they pose a particular challenge on covers.

Nice! I have some of these and I am going to try to complete the set. Was there any particular one that was hard to find?

The High values can be hard to find, which is normally true of any series.

Well, like Stamperdude said, the high values can be a little tough to find. In this instance, the $1, $2, and $5.

The $1 isn't too bad, the $2 and $5 have 2008 catalog values around $4 and $3, respectively. The whole set (used) catalogs for $13. A mint set is a mere $145

I don't collect covers, but I bet it would be a challenge to get all 32 on cover.

Thanks for sharing Harry.

They look good to me -- of course, there's no such thing as an ulgy stamp. (Well, almost :-)

Very nice sets of prexies! I like your different shades, nugget.
Specialists try to find "solo" (single stamp) usages for as many as they can on cover, which can be tough.

I'm surprised that none shown have been precancels.

No way, Harry.

The more the merrier - I enjoy seeing everyone's scans. I wish there were more.
