This is probably not the right place or way to do this, but here goes: Linn's Stamps of 25 April has an article about stamps being issued during the big show. I'd really like to,get a first day cover of the "Honoring Extraoridnary Heroism" stamps. It sounds like (there are 4 stamps) they will be issued in a single pane of 12. So I was wondering if one of you guys going to the show can get one and send to me? (Or 4 singles if that's how they do it? Again I have no idea..... But I would certainly pay full purchase price plus shipping if someone can hook me up.
Of course, if there is an easier way I am all ears as well.........
THANKS! Dave |

If anyone is interested, there will be a wreath laying ceremony at the soldiers and sailor's monument on Monday, at 10:00 am. https://riversideparknyc.org/event/...emoration-3/. I've attended in the past. It's a nice ceremony in a beautiful neighborhood north of the Jacob Javits Center. If anyone is interested, we could meet at the Javits Center and head up there together. |

NY 2016 - Reality sets in
Spent the day working on checking in the exhibits and getting the frames ready for mounting. Just want to say that you have no idea how much room 4500 frames occupies. They fill an entire large exhibit hall in the Javits Center. It's going to be a massive undertaking to mount and/or view the exhibits. The material that passed through the doors so far is astounding in both breadth and depth. EVERY corner of the world is represented with world-class rarities and deep fly-specking studies.
Put it this way - if you only look at half the frames, and spent 1 second per page (16 seconds per frame), it will still take you a full 10 hours just to scan the material.
Looking forward to renewing and making new acquaintances.
Chip

Hey Chip,
I'm taking the train to NYC tomorrow night! I'm sure I will be walking right past many "online friends" without even knowing it!
Is there a good way to search topics for the exhibits or just need to wander around and look at them?

Chip,
If I want to see exhibits only related to Newfoundland, is there an index of locations or are the segregated by country? or will I need a Drone to fly around an GoPro the locations? |

Would it help if you all wore some kind of SCF ad T-Shirt which would show off the web address of the online forum and identify members that are at the show too? |

FYI - just found the show app which lets you search exhibit descriptions and presentations and dealers by keyword. If you're at the show, it does make finding things easier. |
