Does anyone know anything about this overprint? Is it a postage stamp?

Thank you rod222!
In the thread of the link you gave me, it is said that this overprint is a private made. So it means that it is not a postage stamp. Am I right?

No Praha,
It is a postage stamp, the overprint is a device to deter theft of the company's postage,
It still carries its value on the cover and pre pays postage.

Your'e fine, you merely have a "variety" :) a nice one at that!

Same idea as a Perfin, has a similar strategy.

We list them in a differing hiearchy, we call them "Commercial Overprints"
Hope that helps.

Actually the delineation gets dodgy here,
"commercial overprints" generally refer to fiscal use.

You can read the chicanery for authorised and unauthorised overprints here

Google translated "impuesto de encomiendas" as parcel tax. I don't have a catalog handy, so is that a parcel post stamp?

Thanks, Robert
