Hi,

I just find an Italy 50c stamp dull violet scott #200. Is exist 2 stamps color for this 50c in Italy?

I know it exist some bright violet Eritrea stamps like the left one with an overprint; but the left one don't have it.

I've seen an array of at least 18 samples of this stamp and they vary greatly in color. (Well, in brightness.)

I suspect that the stamp on that right has faded to some extent but yes as KGB says they do vary in shade.

SG just lists one shade "bright mauve" but Michel lists this as "violet to lilac".

cd, it's likely Torbole, a village on the north edge of Lake Garda.
