How Many Varieties Of Rk29 Stamp Colors ?

Good day to all. How many varieties of color does the Rk29 foreign consular stamp presents itself? I noticed on ebay, the ultra blue, but I am having difficulty finding information about this specific color stamp and value on the net. It is not numbered in the Scott Specialized Catalogue about this Foreign Service Consular stamp of 1929. Can anyone inform me about this stamp and current market value for an unused?

Are you assuming this is an RK29?

I know there is an ultra blue, but I was wondering if the stamp also comes in the color of black and if it is a variance of the stamp. Otherwords a number "B" ect. I do not have the information to attempt to check this out, or the value of this specific stamp.

The ultra blue is the RK29 since I have seen the stamp being sold on ebay. But they are used that I have view. This darker color one, I attempted to look to see if it was also certified in past with P.Foundation to get an idea what is the value. Did not see it with them either. So, I wondered if this also has a "B" noted for specific color and what is the value for an unused stamp black foreign consular $2.50 fee stamp.

Can anyone tell me which book I can find this information since it is not in the Scott Specialized catalogue?

There is a RK36 and RK36a, you know, but I don't know of black being a color variation.

Scans, photos, monitors... It's often hard to tell.

Here's one that sold recently (RK36, I believe) that is described as dark blue. Some might see it as black, I suppose.

The 2014 Scott catalog value for RK36 (which yours appears to be) is 60 cents.

Peter..i am being honest. I do not see it in Scott's specialize catalogue. Please tell me what page are you looking at? I looking through revenues and nothing between pages 41-45.I definitely have the book..on page 44, there is stock transfer stamps, and then Hunting permit stamps..nothing of foreign consular stamps at all..then comes the confederate state stamps, and the next is canal zone

my edition is several years old. It definitely does not have Foreign Consular Stamps in it. If the 2015 has an update version with other revenue stamps that include this , will see to purchase another book.

As a matter of fact, Peter. I went to the Philatelic Foundation in past and they evaluated rare stamps of mine in person for auction. I did sell a few of them out of state in auction. The kind gentlemen at the PF showed me the exact book to purchase. I did not know if I needed updated version, but maybe I do. Thank you for your suggestion.

It appears you are using the worldwide Scott Classic Specialized Catalog, 1840-1940, which has the abbreviated US listing order you describe - rather than the Specialized Catalog of US Stamps & Covers, which is 1100+ pages of stricty US-related material including the Consular Service Fee stamps you are searching for.
