I think I may have had one to many, as I am seeing double, or do you think maybe triple?

A rather pretty little forgery, though.

Though it may be a forgery, it still is a very nice addition to a collection.

On second thought, what would lead anyone to believe it is a forgery afterall?

Just curious - Please advise...

I do not know what stamp(or forgery) it is because the bottom is so blurred. 1 F? or??? If it is printers waste and if there were a lot of them it can not be worth that much. Anyone know the Scott # and what it may be worth if printers waste?

As a policy, Scott does not assign catalog numbers to printer's waste.

I saw that there were trial color 25c Napoleon's sold on Seigel auctions, but no pictures. Does anyone know what the trial colors were? Could this stamp be a trial color essay?

Could be an essay/proof. Scroll a little bit down and you see vertical pairs of the 25 cent. orange

Thanks so much asmodeus. The 1853 "Orange sample print" seems like the only possibility for a match with denomination and color.

Here appears to be the answer to my question. Appears that these are quite common, and do not sell for much.
