This is one of those stamps that has an eye-popping catalog value, but in real life can be purchased for around €300 (and probably much less for my copy due to toning at top).
I'm curious about the blue cancel. It looks like a revenue cancel to me, but I'm not sure if early German stamps were used as revenues.
