I have a hard time sometimes seeing the difference between overinking and double impressions. I'm still new(ish) to stamp collecting and don't have a lot of DI to kind of compare too. What do you think?
Maggus, the first one you posted is not very clear as to why you would think it is a double impression. I think the left impression is most likely overinked. On the second one you may indeed have a double impression!
I will try and scan the first one better. I thought it was both an over ink and a double impression. It seemed like when I was looking at it it was easier to see, but the frame line, especially on the left, seems to be 2 separate arcs. Is that right? Am I thinking double transfer?
