I received a very nice Scott Specialty album collection from a dealer this week and the last few nights I've been consolidating my rag tag possessions collections into it. While doing so I was noticing the seemingly really small quantities of 1930's US Philippines stamps issued, well under 100,000 in many cases, yet the values can be well under $1 for these same stamps. Why is this so? Were most of these released directly to collectors? Demand seems to be there. US Possessions are consistently needed for APS circuits. What's up?
