I have received some flack on another forum about my pricing of this item. Here's my response:
The imperforate sheet originally cost me $65.00 and I felt lucky that I was able to pay that low price after seeing what the sheets were selling for a few weeks later. So that works out to $5.42 for each stamp, plus $1.23 for each cachet plus $ 0.50 for each cancel plus $ 0.12 to and from postage = $ 7.37 x2 = $ 14.74.
If I sell @ $50.00, the associated ebay and Paypal costs are $5.00 ( ebay) and $ 1.75 (PayPal) & postage to the buyer will be .49c (without tracking) = $7.24
Final cost = $ 14.74 + $ 7.24 = $ 21.99
Therefore profit = $50.00 - $ 21.99 = 28.01 for the two or $14.00 each.
Perhaps you didn't notice that there is a Make An Offer option included. If somebody wants to buy it @ $50.00 that's their privilege. However, if I see a MAKE AN OFFER button on a BUY IT NOW, I always make an offer first.
I have collected these imperforate stamps with digital color postmarks since the very first issue in 2012. They make a colorful display.
