Price gouging a product is considered a criminal act..you don't know the law if you think that is untrue..He used ebay for this too with excessive price amount for sheets of stamps. Blazenstar |

Princess, you seem to have price gouging confused with price exaggeration. As far as I'm aware, there's no emergency regarding obtaining stamps, the most essential of life's requirements, which would cause sellers to engage in this despicable act.  Smiles. |

An example of price gouging would be the following. There is a major power loss and suddenly the ___ hardware store is selling there 99c flashlights for $20.00, demand and supply. Stamps don't fall into that category. |

there is a specific term noted called "overcharge"..it is an excessive price for something that would not be considered a normal price based on market value....Tom, you are correct that gouging has occurred when incidences such as hurricane with gas prices increase ect when under normal conditions would not do that..people have been charged for those criminal acts

My direct ancestors were even before the Hasburgs ruled including after too..very long royal family history.. Signed and documented in royal lineage books as a child in an official location overseas too when I was there..smiles |
