Hello. Looking for some input on a damaged #1 PEI Stamp.. It looks quite different from other ones I have and almost appears to be a rouletted stamp.. I know the probability of that is ++rare and I am fairly new at stamps. It appears to be a different kind of paper. I've put a comparison stamp as well. I believe it's a number 1 with the perf's appearing to be 9's. thanks.

I think there are small perf marks left on the top of first image and sides of the other stamp. Trimmed?

I did see the perfs on the first image so that ruled out a proof plate example in my eyes. that is why I am confused about the difference in the looks.

Alberta Stamper....You first stamp maybe a #1, but I think it has been trimmed..Just my opinion..And you second stamp I believe is a #5..Again my opinion.
