Good day to all. I have been sorting out US precancel stamps that I received in a lot of stamps..Are these considered intergral pre cancels due to date, and considered locals as well? Can anyone provide me what company GA &M Co? is this a private company? Is there a special manner in how to describe this6 block of stamps? Since these appear to be different than some of the precancels are they very collectible? what are the market value for these stamps?
Any information would be appreciated..Thank you in advance.

Mill Hall PA is a small town (pop: 1,613) in the middle of Pennsylvania. GA & M Co was probably a small business back in June 1950. The probability of a small business in a small town surviving to 2015 (65 years) is about nil. You would probably need to find a 1950s telephone book to determine what/who GA & M Co was.

The unasked question would be why would GA & M Co need so many 15 cent stamps in June 1950 that it felt necessary to pre-cancel sheets of them.

Thank you for the information. I am not accustomed to collecting these stamps.i appreciate it..i saw on ebay someone that placed as an integral stamp similiar as the manner with date and town ect. and was selling for approx. 1.50 for the individual stamp. I just was curious about what this was referred. Thank you chasa for the manner to classify this specific stamp.

Yes, it is a keeper. Very nice condition and something most dated collectors could use in their collection. These Denver's are integrals - the date and user are integrated into the same device as city/state. The Mill Hall was done in two steps.

Although I can't identify the GA&MCO precancel, this listing suggests that the same (or similar) precancel was used both in Mill Hall and neighboring Lock Haven, PA, which may be a clue. In any event, some might find this list helpful for future reference:
