Scott 36 2c Small Queen

I passed this up as a slip print. Opinions please.

Are you being swayed by the 'c' and 'n'? It took me a moment to see it as a smudge of the cancel. Otherwise, the stamp looks good to me. You must have a sharp eye.

Could one enlarge the image when the auction was still open?

Yes and the upper left corner appears doubled and the markings in CENTS and CANADA appear symetrical.. Slip print or re-entry? I could only copy the image and enlarge it.

Here is the image after I played with it. It looks to be doubled in the UL corner.

Slip prints can be very subtle.

Errorsrock, that's a slip print to me. Re-entry lines are sharper and less "smudgy" looking. That's what I look for. Here's an example I have on a 3c SQ of a Slip Print. You can see doubling but it is the typical smudged look of a Slip Print.



Re-entries are usually more subtle like this one in the lower left corner. Look at the 3 and you will see very thin lines that are the doubling of this re-entry.
