One cent and two cent values on post cards and covers are not scarce.

They are all very nice looking stamps. I hope I have some to post tomorrow night. I am going to the Syracuse N.Y stamp show all day and have some fun.

I was musing about where to find one on cover until I realized a easy solution: just stick one on an envelope and mail it to yourself!

That Vermont cover must be tiny, Stallzer! I think I have one about the same size with a #11.

On Q8 vs. the Vin Fiz stamp, it is accurate to describe the Q8 as the first government issued stamp with an airplane depicted on it.

As a topical collector, I certainly have both mint and used copies of Q8. What I've never seen, though, and wonder if it exists, is Q8 "on cover". Since it is a parcel post stamp, I would expect if so that it might just be a fragment from package wrapping. Still, I've thought of how nice it would be to have an example like that.
