Stop it. You're going to make me want to collect something ELSE away from my specialty. Those half-cent postage dues on cover are bad enough...

They are all very nice looking stamps. I hope I have some to post tomorrow night. I am going to the Syracuse N.Y stamp show all day and have some fun.

And these four are used outside the continental US at the US Postal Agency in Shanghai China, San Juan PR, Ponce PR, and Iditarod AK.

I have a 5c or 10c (parcel post) used from Honolulu.

I was musing about where to find one on cover until I realized a easy solution: just stick one on an envelope and mail it to yourself!

That Vermont cover must be tiny, Stallzer! I think I have one about the same size with a #11.

On Q8 vs. the Vin Fiz stamp, it is accurate to describe the Q8 as the first government issued stamp with an airplane depicted on it.

As a topical collector, I certainly have both mint and used copies of Q8. What I've never seen, though, and wonder if it exists, is Q8 "on cover". Since it is a parcel post stamp, I would expect if so that it might just be a fragment from package wrapping. Still, I've thought of how nice it would be to have an example like that.
