wcss775, How did you come up with the Sinaloa name and the year? I do not see any of that on the stamp?

Peter

(Google translate ought to help if you don't read Spanish.)

Peter,

I have two sources I use that would have led me to the ID provided above.

1. The following link has a list of letters, terms, characters etc. that might appear on stamps and it will help direct you to the right country in most cases.

http://www.iswsc.org/iswsc_identifier.html

Give it a look and you can see that Ejercito Renovador can be found and leads you to Mexico - Sinaloa

2. I am not affliated with them in anyway all but the Linns Stamp Identifier Book (Revised Edition 2004)is also useful in many cases. This can be found relatively easily for online for under $15. This small paperback not only has a listing of all the characters that my be found(similar to the online link provided), but it also has over 1000 pictures of the tough stamps with no characters that can be reviewed as well as stamps with Arabic, Cyrillic, or Asian characters (ect.). This book it is worth the small investment you often find yourself stumped. It does not really provide much help on revenue stamps however.

Hope that helps
Hobsun
