Hello Stamp Community,

I was hoping that someone here with a lot more experience with Covers than I have could possibly help. I am going thru boxes of older "Covers" that were given to me, and I came across one I thought was interesting. It is a Brookman #1548 "The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow" from Oct. 10, 1974 in North Tarrytown, NY. Funny thing I never noticed before was that it looks like it was run through twice. Once normally, then turned over and run through again. I guess what I am wondering is if it makes this worth more than the $2.00 that Brookman says it's worth? And if so, how sought after are errors like this? I appreciate any help, Thanks, Marty

Exactly right. It went through the canceller twice. As far as value, some mikght consider it an nteresting freak and pay a a small premium for it, others might consider it damaged and worthless.
