Excellent ideas all. I love this discussion since my pages are an on-going project too. The only problem is if I see an idea I want to incorporate I'll want to go back and change my current pages!

All these pages are excellent! What I hate most about these pages is that they make me second guess the design choices I made on my own pages! I'm worse than George Lucas and his tweaking of the Star Wars films at times.

- exactly apastuszak!

area66 - I like your project a lot! Tough not on the same scale, I am doing something similar on my digital pre-1900 pages, e.g. this page is displaying different Transvaal overprints directly on the album page so I do not necessarily need to look up in the cataloge:

(...but I still managed to misplace the only stamp on that page....)

My understanding is you are intending to push much more into details - and also go WW? That's very ambitious - philately need more spirit like that Please share more examples as you progress.

blaamand for now I have a list of 8 counties that I need to do something asap and 22 countries than can wait. The countries that are in real need are. Belgian Congo, czechoslovakia, Sweden, Ecuador, Hungary, Mexico, Panama, Philippines, Mozambique co. I tough I have fix Mozambique co. And the Spanish part of Philippines when I purchased palo pages and binder for it but I'm really not satisfy with the 5 rings binder, too stiff to turn the page, so it will go on the shelf with my collection of album that I use only as referral.

I have to do something with my machin colection, my Canada centennial near complete and my Xmas 1898 CANADA STAMPS

By centennial I do have the place in my lighthouse album fill. I was referring on the many varieties on lighthouse LB pages I add to the album

Wow - lots of interesting work ahead then.
To make such detailed catalog-styled album pages for Mexico (as described in OP) sounds like quite a job - best of luck!

I have felt constrained by preprinted album pages before so that I now use blank pages such as vario pages that I can arrange in any way possible.

Well a lot of thing have change after the last 36 hours at work alone, I tough about many things.

First I get into machin
https://goscf.com/t/47558

My Scott Int. is already fill at least 80 - 90% , it's look great.

I finally found where is my problem, and when you find the problem, you find the solution :

- I don't like all countries
- I prefer Engraved stamps fallowed by Typo
- Stamps are not well organize in Scott albums, series are not group together, as example Canada release few years after the other a new admiral with not the same perforation on the side than on top, many album but it on different pages. Lighthouse group them together, this is where I get my main idea.
- I don't like all the stamps from a country I like, if you take Hungary as example, I like the Franz Josef 1, Crown of St-Stephen and the Parliament and Palace of Budapest series.

So why redo everything, let's leave the stamp in the Scott Int. there and I just have to prints albums with series I like from different countries. There nothing wrong to have 2 copies of the same stamps in different albums.

For US and Canada, the choice is clear, I stick with the Lighthouse. I do have already the 1898 xmass stamps varieties, some Small and Large Queens varieties and the Centennial varieties on Lighthouse LB pages in the albums, ( LB are like the SAFE pages , a plastic sheet with pocket over a paper page. )

Those series pages will give me plenty of fun to design. I already did a real nice one with the different type of the Hradcany series of Czechoslovakia with good description to ID them, I will just add some drawing made from stamps scan.

I like this last layout even more as it provides more flexibility for whatever extras should turn up
What's the format of that paper - it's not A3, is it?
