Hello. My grandfather got some stamps many years ago. He trade some very underpriced and has bad feelings about trading stamps because of his mistakes. He has some stamp sheets dated back to y 1837. Those sheets are undamaged and complete even with advertisements inside :) He wants to trade them/sell them but for that we need to know price of those sheets. Could you help us please? Thank you

These are indeed postage stamps. More accurately, they are German Area booklets of postage stamps. German East Africa, German South-West Africa, etc. Someone with a Michel Catalog could look them up for you. Some can be quite valuable!

These look in lovely condition. They are all 1913 booklet issues. In entire and in A1 condition as yours look to be, the German East Africa catalogues in SG at GBP500 (EUR660), German South-West Africa at GBP225 (EUR300) and Cameroon at GBP250 (EUR330). My personal advice would be to keep them as they will only increase in value (don't keep them anywhere damp as the staples will rust; too dry and the stamps will start to fall apart.

They are very collectible in excellent condition. If you really want to sell them, get them properly valued (maybe expertised as well) and either put them on ebay or go to an auction house in the hope of getting more money (but remember you will lose a percentage of this on seller's fees and other commissions).

German colonies are currently very much in demand and consistently bring a high percentage of catalog value. As Tim said, I wouldn't sell them immediately, unless of course you desperately need the money.

Your booklets are:

German East Africa Michel 3 B
German Southwest Africa Michel 3 I B
Kamerun Michel 3 A or 3 B (can't tell which without seeing the inside)

These typically sell at auction for €75-€100 each.
