Hi All

Just yesterday I was given these two pieces of literature from my wife's workplace.

I believe that these are collectible by themselves.

The informative small one was printed in 1934, and, I have to assume that the stamp finder was the same year as well, but, cannot confirm this.

The Fiery Throne can be had on ebay for $2-3.

While there are a lot of "Stamp Finder" booklets for sale on ebay, they are mostly HE HARRIS products and go for about $2-5.

I am not familiar with the one you have illustrated, but it would probably go in the same range. If you showed some content pages that might help.

Let's not forget the publisher of both of those works (McClelland and Stewart) was the subject of a Canada Post stamp in 2006 for their centennial year:

I put items like these in my Ephemera Collection which includes booklets, stamp collecting kits, tools (early perf gauges, magnifiers), and even early stamp hinge packages. Long-time dealer Elmer Long published and gave away to his customers annual price lists, blotters, calendars, & book plates for albums. Much of Long's stuff from the 1930s include delightful cartoons by John Coulthard which, for me, are highly collectible.

Here are a couple of pages that are in the "Fiery Throne" booklet. In total, there are 28 pages to this booklet.
