I've seen a set on sale for just over $350, though this collection has some unfortunate imperfections. The 75c is the most valuable and it looks in pretty good shape, though the photo isn't very clear.

Yeah, except those corners at 1c, 40c and 50c, stamps are in a good condition with original gum nh so far as I saw.
Edit: I made a pic with 15c,75c,1F

If you wanted to sell, you might consider replacing the flaws yourself beforehand. A buyer would be pretty turned off by those corners.

Well, im not an expert, but I doubt these are forged. Its an inherited collection from an old uncle. But maybe you can help me with some hints about how to detect is a forge or not. Thank you.

Forgeries of this issue were done by the 1920s by Charles Hirschburger, of Fournier's workshop in Geneva. The three you enlarged look legit. The others are too small to tell. I look for the clarity of the hand holding the staff and whether the fruit is distinct from the horn.

Last complete set sold on ebay went around $100, yours would bring less due to the damaged stamps. If they were mine, I would start around $65-70 and see if it attracts any bids. Replacing the damaged stamps might run you about $25.

They all look legit. Fournier/Hirschburger printed sheets that included one stamp for each colony. Since the population of fakes is the same for all colonies, they are much more likely to pop up in collections of obscure colonies such as Ste Marie de Madagascar than for, say, Indochina.
