Hello guys. I found by accident on the back side of the 10c King Albert I something unusual. I have searched all over the internet and I couldnt find any info about it. Maybe someone can help me understand what that might be? So far I know the 1920 10c has no watermark, but this one looks strange. Also I looked on the face and I couldnt find any match to corespond with the back side.

Hi Dopson. Your picture is very unclear but it looks like something printed on a cover / envelope is now mirrored on the back of the stamp. If you disagree with this diagnosis, please post a clearer image of this, preferably a scan!

No-one had to make it on purpose - simply lettering from an envelope or other printed paper that has impressed itself on the moistened stamp above it.

it's "la poste" may be part of the word "postale" repeated so you have the end "le" and the start of the other word "po" PO box in French is "Casier postal" sometime call "Boite postale" letter mail is "lettre postale" package will be "colis postal" Post card is "carte postale"

le poste will be phone # 234 567 7890 ext ( poste ) 123 .................. poste is masculine in that case " you ask for extension.... " ( tu demande le poste ....)

but why not Union Postale Universelle " UPU "
