I am cleaning my bookshelves and noticed a lot of room for my collection of 1980 - 2000 of US Yearbooks. I started collecting these but lost interest with the expense. I collect my stamps with the Harris Liberty Stamp Album of all new stamps and am very happy with just this album. I am thinking about taking the stamps from these yearbooks to place into my Harris Album and "get rid of" (noticed they weren't going for much, if anything, on ebay). What are your thoughts on this move? TY

You should consider doing just that. If you removed them from the plastic bag some were shipped in and placed them in the folders or in those which were issued with the stamps in the album, you may find that some of the stamps are stuck in the album. This is common to find. Good luck. I know many who opened the albums years later to find most of the stamps were stuck because the black background was not safe.

TY for that feedback; I will be one unhappy grumpy bear if this happens to me. I have always kept them neatly on my bookshelf in my home so I am hoping they have been preserved safely. I need to get them in their individual mounts; makes sense; TY!
