The postcard is of Pebble Beach, Barry. I assume in Wales. With a Great Britain Sc 128 I assume, cancelled Barry April 9, 1910. My question is what the remainder of the cancel is after Barry. It was mailed to Hagensberg, Russia part of Riga, Latvia now with a machine receiving cancel. What's interesting also is the time-warp on the receiving cancel....30.III.1910. Unless you take into consideration the difference between Julian and Gregorian calendars.

It does look like it could be it. Would the part after Barry be the county in Wales?

John, this is a place called Porthkerry which is about 2 miles west of Barry, in South Wales. I was born in Barry and spent many happy hours on this beach. The town of Barry was one of the largest coal export ports in the world at one time, and is still a port today. Geest used to bring bananas in when I lived there. As for post mark, the last part may be Island. Barry Island is by the docks and serves as a pleasure park.

I think it reads Barry B.O. (GLAM) Glamorgan Wales?

Sorry. Posted as your clarificatio came in. B.O. may be Branch Office? Glam.is short for Glamorgan, one of the main counties in South Wales.
