A Seller Send Me A 30 Cents Stamps Instead Of One Over $ 100

Wow, I purchase quite stuff from a seller and this time he mess up , he send me a 27II instead of a 27I as describe. the set was suposed to include a 27I and a 27II , but I receive 2 x 27II

as you can see it'S 2 exactly same stamps an none of them have the line of the envelope touching the 1

what make it look a little bit like a 27I is the cancel






The 27I was printed in 2 shoot, the first one they print the stamp and after they print the 1 over, so the 1 was not always centered and was over the lines that make the envelope , the 27II was print in 1 shoot with the 1 not touching the line of the envelope like show in the drawing the 27e is the Michel 27I and the 28e the Michel 27II

you can see also than the set come with 2 1kr stamps ( 27I and 27II ) the seller is suposed to be an expert in Hungarian, an expert will not let pass such a mistake

I send many photo of the close up to the seller, no reply yet
, I now open a ebay dispute, we will see what happen
Can't be a mistake from the seller, he may be well aware too

Are you saying the stamps in the picture aren't the ones he sent you? Or did he incorrectly identify it in the title of the listing?

. look at the original photo of the listing if you zoom it it's look like a 27i and it's what I did before purchase,the photo on the listing make believe it's a 27i








but it's not the ink of the stamps but the cancel that make it look like this, like on this photo of a 1200 dpi scan I did

Yes, it`s pretty clear.

Case close the seller refund me the full amount, and ask me to send back the set to him, we finally agree to a partial refund as I will keep the set ( I don,t like mail stuff ) Finaly the seller told me my scan was very good , I think he don't see it was the cancel. If you take a magnifying glass , all those black look the same, you really need a scan.

I'm gone make a serious article for show the difference betwen all those Crown stamps, something with a chart, this is an interesting series.

It's sad because the 27i is the only 1 missing and I can't even find a good photo on the web

Edit ...mistake everything find with the second stamp

So I have interesting exchange with the seller, finally I think he was foul by the cancel and don't look closely with a scanner.
