Hello again,
I have another one for you all that's been bugging me, I maybe missing something in the Scotts as I'm only learning how to fly them but.....

I'm guessing Wmk.184, but the direction is throwing a spanner in. The stamp measures 17 1/2mm by 22mm, but the perf. readings are 13 1/2-14 1/2 & I can't see a listing for that size or that Wmk. ?

Any input welcome, thanks for looking.

ATB.....Jad.

Hi again,
& then there were two, but I can't see a water mark on this one & the vertical perfs on this one are closer to 14.
The only thing I can find is the watermark was for Italian states but I don't know anything else about these 13 1/2 perf horizontals.(going to re-check perfs.again)
I just noticed the double frame lines top & bottom too.
There is a little bit of the 'T' showing in the bottom left corner of the first stamp but the watermark was, & I quote Scotts....

"Wmk. 184 has double lined letters diagonally across the sheet reading :" II R R POSTE TOSCANE."

I'm reluctant to put these aside as the Sc #193 (19mm-23mm)varitions CVs rage from .35 to 55,0000 :O

Thanks for your interest.
ATB....Jad

As far as I know, these stamps can only be 192. (I`m not sure what you`re saying about Watermark 184, by the way.)

Hello KGB, not a lot of info in the cat. for these, all the other stamps have been easy to positively ID., but these....
Is this the correct watermark vertically for this stamp ? The only Wmk listed on this whole page in my cat. is 140, the crown.
Don't mind me mate, just a confused newbie ;)
Cheers.....Jad

Just the crown was used at this time, though the mark on your first stamp is a mystery. (At least to me.)
