On a recent trip to Michigan I stopped by a local stamp store and found a box of mint postal stationery. The dealer was trying to get rid of it at 65 percent of face, so I pulled out about six bucks worth, including several aerogrammes. This was one of them. It has some condition issues, but also something quite noteworthy. Can you spot it?

No indication of a stamp? Should be a 30 cent indicia there.

Nice error. It's listed in Scott's as UC53a.

Kimo, I read the OP as saying that 65% of face was for whatever was in a box of mint postal stationary, and that this was just a lucky find, not that the dealer intentionally priced it at 65% of face.

That's correct, blcjr. It was in with another aerogramme which *did* have the red 30 cent denomination. The dealer was just blowing out some old inventory. Here's what it's supposed to look like.
