A bunch of items from various sources: ebay, Siegel, and Eric Jackson auctions.

First, a common stamp, R13c, but look at those jumbo margins!

I've always liked the 1-cent Proprietary 1st issue imperf (RB1c) and have several examples. This is a margin imprint block of 6. Faulty, but most multiples are.

Two additions to my fractional rate tax document collection. First is an R206 and R210 paying 4.5 cents tax on a fire insurance policy.

Next is a very attractive plate glass insurance policy with R154, R162, and R167 paying 6.5 cents tax.

An addition to my improper usage collection, a vertical strip of four RB45 (1/4 cent proprietary) paying a 1-cent tax on a bill of lading. Very unusual.

Third issue 2-cent vermilion and black (R135a) on a check. 1982 PF cert states the stamp is genuine, but they decline opinion as to whether the stamp originated on the check, presumably because the stamp is not canceled and there are no tying smudges, etc.

Lastly, a lovely example of R5b showing the T5 major double transfer. I have other examples, but this one also has a nicely placed handstamp cancel. With PSE cert.

I love the R5b. I have a hard time spotting some double transfers, but for this one I don't even need my glasses.

Nice additions! The imperf block is my favorite.

I would like to use stamps for this purpose in modern times! Make payments with stamps. Don't see that use anymore.
