Bit of an odd ball this one UNKNOWN STAMP 1897 THINK IT IS ITALY if you know please advise no country/value indicated 'Ratzes' on the cancel maybe an Italian Fiscal Stamp.

Djschol, there are quite a few types of these, and I have no idea which one this is. But most of these are selling for under ten dollars on E-bay. Since you are in Europe, I might suggest you check Delcampe.
Hello djschol, the cancel is of the small place of Ratzes (now Bad Ratzes) in the Italian part of Tyrol. I should like to add it to our database of cancels if you permit me. Regards from Munich / Germany Heinrich
