LOL BeeSee! But that is a good picture and a pretty stamp. Sorry, much better than the Shattner one.

I don't get it. Since when do we put American citizens on Canadian stamps?

Don't forget there were a few American CFL legends on Canadian stamps.

I suspect there will also be a few more "American" Star Trek characters like Uhura, Chekov and Sulu. Scotty was Canadian of course.

Please note that Mr. Spock is from Vulcan. I have never heard of him becoming an American citizen!

sak - Franklin was Postmaster General of Canada. BTW what we really need - vis-a-vis yank on Canadian stamps - is a stamp for Benedict Arnold. A Great Canadian.

It was alluded to above...not only is William Shatner Canadian, but Vulcan, Alberta is the Star Trek capital of the world. I guess that justifies a Star Trek series of stamps.

Scotie's son was on ET Canada last night. They showed the stamp with Scotie on it. The stamps are supposed to be issued in may.

I've seen a post office documnet showing a combined coain and stamp set to be issued may 13th. It had only two places for stamps, but that can be easily changed.

I wonder if they would also include Klygon messages on the back as they did a few years ago?
