From Sylvain's Klingon link: Kor – the powerful and mighty commander of the Klingon Empire, and his DC-7 Battle Cruiser are the latest additions to the #StarTrek50 series. Played by Toronto actor John Colicos, Kor was the first "named" Klingon in the original Star Trek series. |

Going boldly where no self-adhesive (i.e. klingon) postage stamp has gone before. |

I've seen the "Permanent" domestic postage stamps to be issued on May 5th.
A ten stamp booklet contains two each of the Kirk, Spock, Bones, Scotty and Kor stamps.
It's possible that the right side of the booklet stamps may have different die cuts from the left side stamps, eg, starts with a peak or a valley. I didn't check this out.
The Enterprise and Klingon Battle Cruiser stamps appear in both a perforated two stamp souvenir sheet and a die cut fifty stamp coil roll.
And of course, there's an Uncut Press Sheet, OFDC and maybe post cards. |

Be Prepared, those who want everything. The Star Trek Issue will prove to be the most expensive in Canadian stamp history. There are lenticular stamps, 2 press sheets and a deluxe booklet, among others. Here is a screen capture of one of the lenticular stamps, how one "beams" into the other. |

The amount of Star Trek releases is mind boggling. It is hard to keep track of them.
2 Press Sheets - One Lenticular - $120.00 - One Non lenticular - $45.00
8 FDCs - $22.00 1 Framed Print - $70.00 1 Framed Autographed Shatner Print - $250.00 1 Coiled Stamp Roll of 50 - $42.50 1 Dispenser - $6.00
2 Booklets - $28.50 Set of Postcards - $12.50
Add them up and the total is $596.50. Add tax and the amount is well over $600.
If you really want to be a completest, buy the coins also. The Gold Star Trek coin sell for $1300.00. Add the other coins and the price is $1600 for all the coins.
So if you buy all the stamps and all the coins you are looking at $2200.00!

I bought the prestige booklet today. It includes mini-sheets that are different from the mini sheets of the regular issue. |

The lenticular press sheet is sold at face value, $120, containing 12 of the $10 souvenir sheets. What is interesting about the water activated press sheet is that it contains 6 of the booklet pane of 5, the last image Sylvain showed. It is also sold at face. That pane is only available in the deluxe booklet, in addition to the press sheet. I think this the first booklet pane press sheet by Canada Post? |

When my local official Post Office tried to direct order the $22.00 post card set for me today, it was shown as "0" in stock. Just in case there's a "Buy" situation in the market of these post card sets, a few phone calls to Post Offices in nearby towns identified one set available, so I'll have it next week.
Yesterday, I cancelled my 30+ year "standing order" due to the philatelic department's decision to hold shipments for up to two months to accommodate their $25.00 'no shipping fee' rule. But I did order the $120.00 lenticular uncut press sheet first as there is a limited production of 2,000. |

Blackjag, I got the postcards at the post office in Aldergrove, BC near where I work, but they were only $12.50 for the set. Not sure what the $22.00 you mention gets.
Long ago I stopped buying all new issues, and just get what interests me. Yeah I am I Star Trek fan, and I ordered the lenticular press sheet, in addition to the other one. |
