Canada 859 Diefenbaker

I am in the process of disposing of my collection and came upon a copy of 859 (in position 42 as part of a lower left plate block) with a circular spot as per the attached image. My Unitrade catalogue is 2012 so perhaps it is in later editions. It almost matches the size of the perforation holes but doubt if this is an issue. Surely perforation takes place after printing.

Can anyone throw any light on this?

I believe that it is simply a 'donut" and probably a one-off.

A small piece of paper fell onto the plate or paper as it was in the print stage.

Hi . Is there at least a market for those kind of stuff . From what I see, a large part of Canadiens members are looking for errors, re-entre when in fact classic errors lik George V extended moustache or mold in the face don't sell at all

Unitrade 2016 describes 859i with a dot above initial "G" in legend (pos. 40), with a cat. value of $3.50 for a NH-VF

Thanks, all. I suspected that this is a one-off, so let's see what the market reaction is. And Yes, I was aware of the "dot over initial G" constant error.

Well, that's more or less what I expect. On ebay I generally start out at about 6 to 10% of CV and even then I only sell about 50% of my listings.
