1887 Registration Cover Album Page

Just finished this album page on a registered letter I've been researching. Just thought I'd share.

Hi jamesw,

What a fabulous page! Attractive and informative. How much of this is printed and how much is mounted? I am guessing that the cover at top is mounted and that everything else including the page borders are printed. If so, I would move the right side up just a bit and/or reduce the enhanced postmark image to make room for the map to fit within the page border at bottom.

I would love to see a few more of your pages.

thanks for the kind responses. To answer your questions Scottamer, all on this page posted here is digital, for posting. I printed the actual page without the cover at top, to mount the original. So I actually have two versions, the digital and the analogue.
And I do see what you are saying about moving the images, but having things stick out of the borders is something I've been doing lately on purpose, just to give a little more visual interest. Guess I was getting tired of everything always staying in the lines. Found the same thing when I was a kid, colouring in my colouring books.

great page....did something about this cover pick your interest to make a page or was it just a random cool cover that you decided to give a nice looking home to?

I try to do write-ups for all my covers (I collect Canada and US). Some, like this one, I'm lucky to find more information, and it makes for a much more interesting page. That's what I think postal history should be about.

That's pretty cool. I am sure it leads you down some interesting paths.
