Since I use Vario stock pages, the stamps on both sides are protected by the clear plastic pockets, so it's not an issue. But if I were using paper pages again, I would be very hesitant to use both sides, even with stamp mounts rather than hinges. Having at one time owned a set of Scott internationals, I saw stamps in Scottmounts lock up together when they faced each other without interleaving, and it's not a pretty site if you are turning the pages quickly and have an *incident* as a result.
