Need Help Mauritius Qe11 Error On The Letter I Genuine Or Fake ?

Hi.
As you can see from the photo, the letter I in Mauritius has an extra bit on the top making it look like a letter P, I cant find any reference to this being an error in the issue, can anyone help please.

It looks like someone messed around with a white marker of some type trying to be funny with word "pus".

I agree. Can you look at if with a UV lamp? That will show you that the ink is different?

Is that not just a well place dust speck on the plate when printing. Interesting none the least.

I concur with Northerner0; looks like some foreign material on the printing plate. I have seen a few stamps with insect bodies in the ink. Here's one that is similar to yours. Notice "LEONARBO".

Thank you all for your replies , it looks very much like the Leonardo stamp glitch but I will get myself a UV lamp as suggested by Peter, I am sure it will be useful .
