Hello everyone, I believe these two stamps to be silk thread, I just need confirmation from those with more knowledge that myself. Also, the L.B. overprint on the back of the 2, what does it mean? I've done a google search and could not find any information or image with L.B. Asking for help and grateful for it, Jonathan

Flipacoin, send a note to staff - on the right bottom of your post. They will remove one of them!

All of the second and third issue revenues were printed on silk paper, which is vastly different from the first-issue silk paper.

See here for more about the differences:

The L.B. could be an owner's mark.

L.B. is actually L. R. = Lewis Robie an early collector of revenues particularly match & medicine stamps.
