If you're wondering about the color difference, violet inks were very susceptible to darkening when exposed to the elements (acid, etc.). The stamp on the left looks darkened.

Robi. Yes, they are different. If you check these with a perforation gauge, you will find they are different catalog numbers (and different printing methods), which explains the color difference. Left is perf 11, Scott 555, flat plate. Right is perf 11x10.5, Scott 635, rotary.
