With fewer and fewer local retail stamp dealers, there are fewer sources for low priced used worldwide stamps. I am lucky in that there is a local dealer here that sells lower end stamps for ten cents a piece. However, he has only a certain amount of inventory. So what suggestions does this group have on ways to get less expensive used worldwide stamps?

You could try buying stamp packets from dealers in the classified ads in Linn's Stamp News.

If you just want random mixes, there are plenty of options on ebay, or the back of Linn's, as has been mentioned. Bidstart is a good source for low-value stamps if you want to purchase individual stamps by catalog number. Most dealers who specialize in a certain area will have an ample supply of common issues for their areas as well, just be prepared to pay close to full catalog.

Do you have a local stamp club, with swaps sheets that are passed around at each meeting? Tons of low value material there. Local stamp fairs are also a good source.
