2014 Flag Cvp Missing Forever Indicia

Has anyone seen this? This is not a response to the rate being lowered is it? I have to wonder if these are still valid, as there is no value implied on the stamp anymore. Also, the clear varnish over the flag normally has very straight, well defined edges, the edges on this example are rough and wavering.

Hi Losmeme, and welcome to the forum. It looks like you have found an error, and a nice one at that. I have not heard of this one yet - just to be sure I would not use these if I were you.

Oh, and I forgot to add, the machine choaked on me while purchasing these. I purchased the full sheet, then I selected "Different Quantity" so I could buy a block of three, but the machine faulted right after selecting "Different Quantity", froze, showed an out of service message and re-booted, coming back online after about 5 minutes. I then repeated the process, received another full sheet, but the machine choaked again when I tried to select "Different Quantity" I gave up and left after that.
