Need Help Translating This Chinese Post Card - 1947 Olympics?

I find this card a bit confusing. It appears to be a Republic of China (Taiwan) 1957 Map of China postcard with a commemoration of a 25 October 1947 Olympic event - disc throwing and diving. But what does it actually say?

you're looking at the date from Western-centric point of view. There are other calendar systems in the world. It's from 1957 (47th year of the Chinese Republic) and probably commemorates a ROC sporting event

I knew about Japan's year-of-this emperor dating on coins ... now ROC ... who else dates with some form of year-of-the-reign?

Glen is correct in stating the ROC years start from the founding of the republic in 1911. So add 1911 to the year date convert to Western years. So it would actually be 1958.

The cachet commemorates the 13th Provincial athletic event for Taiwan held from October 25-31, 1958. I am not sure of the formal English name for the event, so I left it at "athletic event".

The commemorative cancel states 13th Taiwan All-Province Athletic Meet, dated 25Oct1958 for Taichung. (Again, I'm not sure if there was ever a formal English name for the "athletic meet").

The postal cancel is a Taiwan Postal District cancel dated 25Oct1958 at 8AM, with the bottom segment indicating a provisional post office #11 -- that probably means it was a temporary post office set up at the event, but that's just a guess on my part.
