Days after Brexit. Nothing good for the stamp collectors/sellers.
Personally, british buyers are one of the best buyers of my stamps on ebay. Very good and fast payers, good bid wars warriors and they have very small trouble ebay 1diots % in the buying population. Ideal costumers.
British buyers disappeared from ebay due to pound crash or just a summer time? Or just my selling feeling?

You would like to tell that stamps collectors watch tennis and that they do it in a such big percent? Yes they watch it, if there are some sport scenes on the stamps

I see it as a very good news for collectors, many UK sellers have nice commonwealth stock, and I'm not talking only at ebay sellers.

The most commonwealth collectors are from England.
Do You think that UK sellers will not remove their stock or move it somewhere (at ebay.com)? Its half-empty right now.

I see you are from Croatia, do you know Canada and Australia are part of the commonwealth? , I don't know for Australian stamps, but UK seller does offer very interesting Canadian stamps for the classical period. Some have very sound quality sets for that period, not like many US and Canadian sellers who sell sets with some well centred and few not acceptable in the same series.

I can only see it as good news, some UK seller will increase their prices for adjust but other will sell a discount, because this is ebay and it's a jungle. But for sure they will not lose their Canadian's market

I do understand that for a Croatian seller who deal with buyers in UK it's may be a problem, but not for a Canadian collector only good news

Hello to Canada. Sure I know that about 1/4 of the world was a british colony.
Agree, that this situation could be good for the Commonwealth collectors (the most beautiful stamps in my opinion are classic Commonwealth). It might be good for You if snipe some sleeping british seller that didnt adjust the stamp value on the online worldwide stamp market due to GBP crashing. Or if You find some desperate dealer who need money.

Stamps value in the british sellers hands is dropping more than the value of GBP, its burning stamps in their hands. If they increase their prices they will be less competitive and will lose very soon. Happy not in their skin.
Dont belive that there are not good worldwide sellers with the similar material but the prices of that material are going down and down because the biggest stamps buyers in Europe are going down.
This is not good situation for any seller because, as I said, GB buyers are one of the best stamps buyers on the world. And now they have less money for the stamps.

So, guess its time for buying Commonwealth and reselling Reich stamps. God bless Angela Merkel.

Just be aware that Paypal uses quite an unfavorable pound exchange rate.

You can check the exchange rate in PayPal under 'manage currency', here is the current rate compared to that shown by Google.

When you use Paypal to buy something the exchange rate is quite bad.

Since it allows you to have multiple currencies (with a default), I wonder what would happen if you first changed the default to the pound, made the payment, then switched it back.

That would only work if I had a pound bank account (which I don't). I pay in pounds but Paypal charges me in the currency of my bank account (dollars).
