I have been looking for the book, Constant Plate Varieties of the Canada Small Queens, Third Revised Edition by Hans Reiche and Mike Sendbuehler.

If anyone has one for sale or knows a good place to get one inexpensively, please let me know.

I did a quick search of book sellers and only found the Reiche edition from 1961. I have both and the newer book by Reiche and Sendbuehler is a better book. Hope you find one. IF you need additional info for searching I can get it for you.

Mike

Hi jogil,

I could not get your link to work but I looked at the page source and was able to figure it out. Your link shows an earlier booklet on Amazon by Hans Reiche from about 1961. I have this one. It was fine for its time but is greatly surpassed by the more recent book co-written with Mike Sendbuehler. The newer book is significantly expanded, better illustrated, and includes a numbering system for identifying the varieties.

I want it! If somebody else has any advice on how to find one, please let me know.

Hi Scott. I checked the duplicates in the Greene Foundation library yesterday and find that we do have a spare copy of this book. If you contact Kathy (the librarian) the book is available to you at a very reasonable cost. Contact info is online at http://greenefoundation.ca

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. Unfortunately, all of these leads relate to older versions of the book.

The first two editions of this book are written only by Hans Reiche and are relatively short publications that are readily available. It is the third edition co-written with Mike Sendbuehler that I am interested in. This edition is greatly expanded and one of the gold standards for the Small Queen issue.

If anyone has advise for obtaining the Third Revised Edition of Constant Plate Varieties of the Canada Small Queens by Reiche and Sendbuehler please contact me through the forum email system.
