I gleaned a lot of the information about Mr Lund from his obit, which despite my googling and googling, only just popped up on my screen. The joy of search engines!

It's quite poignant. His wive of almost 68 years had predeceased him by just over a month. Also the Sebastopol CA address the letter was sent to was likely his parents farm, where he grew up.

Nice page James. I have know a couple Canadian "Lund" covers, and one from the Gilbert and Ellice Islands. I will have to dig them out.
